Presentation Scans

One of the great benefits of ultrasound is the possibility to follow the progress of your baby through gestation up to shortly before birth.

Presentation Scan Only £55.00

Presentation scans are generally carried out at 32-38 weeks of gestation, as your baby approaches birth date.

At this advanced stage it is usually possible via the ultrasound to:
  • see the position of the baby
  • see the size of the baby
  • closely estimate the weight
  • see the volume of amniotic fluid
This kind of scan may be just right for you if you want peace of mind as you come toward the end of your pregnancy.

You may book your appointment at any stage but please book early to avoid disappointment, especially for Saturdays.

On request a good number of still pictures of the baby captured for output to the optional USB stick.

If we are lucky and depending on a lot of things including the gestation, we may also be able to show you the baby in 3D4D/HD, but we cannot promise this. This kind of scan may be just right for you if you want peace of mind as you come toward the end of your pregnancy.

It is quite unusual for it to happen but if for any reason we are not able to get satisfactory images of your baby during your first session we offer one more scan free of charge.

If you select the USB stick, after the scan you review all the still shots and select your 2 favourites to print as colour photos; all the other pictures are saved on the memory stick.

We like to take good care of our customers so all appointments last about 30 minutes from start to finish and include:
  • a short welcoming talk by way of introduction to the procedure
  • a 15-minute time-slot including a 10-minute scan
  • about 5 minutes afterwards to choose your favourite pictures and print 2 photographs (from the optional USB stick)
It is quite unusual for it to happen but if for any reason we do not capture enough good footage of your baby during your first session we offer one more scan free of charge.

TWINS

Standard Package price for Twins is £55 as it includes a longer 20-25-minute scan because twins always need more time. We also advise mums of twins to come at 32-36 weeks because 2 babies are harder to scan as they have less womb; it’s better to scan before they grow too big!

Cancel up to 7 days before the day of the appointment and the deposit is 100% refundable.

Cancel between 6 and 3 days before the appointment and 50% of the deposit is refundable.

Cancel 2 days or less before the appointment – the deposit is not refundable.

The quality of the visual result of the scan is dependent on the stage of pregnancy, the size and position of the baby, the volume of amniotic fluid and the amount of tissue (skin, muscle, etc) between the ultrasound probe and the foetus in the womb. A good image cannot always be obtained.
